The heart of Havana
this zone is located between the Almendares River and Centro Havana. In the colonial era it was prohibited to cut down trees and to dismantling the forest and no one could live in this place, the field was "forbidden." This was so ordered by the Spanish command who tried to prevent that pirates enter to the city for this side of the coast. Currently is the center of Havana, the place where is concentrate all the bussiness and banking activities. Also there are located the most luxury hotels and restaurants, stores, theaters and recreation places. Do not leave Havana without giving a tour for the Vedado.
