In 1890 starts in Havana and in Cuba, the first worships of Presbyteranism, in Manrique 190 and later in the 146 of the sites. Its first links with the Presbyterian Church in the southern of the United States dates from the end of March of 1890, then based in Nashville, Tennessee. In the late nineteenth century (1899) and mid of 1900, there were preaching centers in 86 sites and Loyalty 182, according to the work of Raul Cepeda, "Notes for a History of Presbyterianism," p.30. The Presbyterianism became important in 1906, because of the segments of the north-southof the presbyteian church of the United States. In december of 1905 it was bought a land in Salud and in January 8th of 1906 there was put the first stone of this rare construction of nordi architecture, which institutionalized and consolidated the Presbyterianism in the capital.
