The beach of Santa Fe is located at the west of Havana. It is marine town not polluted by tourism and with the need of its streets and homes to be restored, to achieve a place in the city where the magic, that it has without doubt, become more attractive. However, Santa Fe is a community that has a sense of belonging and the town as it occupies a space on the inhabitants of that place. The Carnavalito: recycled floats The Carnavalito was taken as a tradition from the conclusion of the carnival that was made in Santa Fe before 60´s. In general is devoted to children why their diminutive name, but now is an comunitary action that becomes an event of full participation: the town and schools are becoming the principal actors and promote all the factors and institutions. And vice versa. Its first edition has as substrate the Cuban History. The second response to an ecological theme: the sea and the slogan: "Save the beach." Emphasis was placed on the study of marine elements and the symbols of the sea deities. The third was devoted to Latin America where carriages were drawn up with folklore elements of this region: The fourth and fifth "Cuba by the world" and a "Laborious Community" respectively. Being in Santa Fe in the Carnavalito Day provides an opportunity to see what can be done to preserve and sustain, in an comunitary action, a carnival festivities dedicated to youth and adults.
